Load Combination Generator
EN 1990:2002 + A1:2005Design Principle: Leading & Accompanying Actions
Structures are designed to avoid unrealistically high loads by identifying a dominant action.
- Permanent Loads (G): Self-weight. Always present. Multiplied by γG.
- Leading Variable Action (Qlead): The dominant load (e.g. Max Wind). Multiplied by γQ.
- Accompanying Actions (Qothers): Occur simultaneously but reduced by ψ (e.g. 0.7 × Q).
Calculate Permanent Actions (from EN1991-1-1 Annex A)
1. Define Actions (Loads)
| ID | Name | Type | Category | ψ0 | ψ1 | ψ2 | EQU Role | Value |
|---|
2. Select Limit States
Reference: Recommended Values of ψ Factors (EN 1990 Table A1.1)
| Action Category | ψ0 (Combo) | ψ1 (Freq) | ψ2 (Quasi) |
